Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Blog 8th January 2011

Good morning folks!

It’s been a very cold start to the morning here with two inches of fine snow underfoot (so much for gritting the paths!)

Earlier I was greeted by forty Mallards, four Siskin,  fifteen Pheasents a Greater Spotted Woodpecker and numerous Robins as I went to fill the feeders. I am still waiting for a glimpse of those elusive Bramblings, lets hope theywill stay around at the feeders for longer now.

On a different not I hope Postie can make it up the road to deliver a new batch of Osprey books soon!

For those who have ordered a copy of the book, I will inform you of the book’s safe arrival via the blog and will not be processing payments until the book has arrived. It should be today, failing that, Monday(I hope).

Take care folks,

Charlotte
