Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Blog 30th January 2011

Morning folks!

It’s still a bit nippy outside with just a touch of frost on the ground. I was followed by a pack of pesky ducks as I went to fill the feeders earlier and almost tripped over one as I walked back to the feeders! They are becoming so agitated of late, often forming heated little scrums and pecking viciously at each other’s necks. Seconds later they will forget what the agression is about and waddle off to annoy some other poor creature. When is the loch going to clear of ice again? I can’t wait to shoo them off the feeding areas!

Happy blogging and take care
