Loch of the Lowes Information 14th December

Greetings from a slightly less frosty Loch of the Lowes,

The temperature this morning is a balmy 2 degrees below zero – Peter and I are positively basking in the warmth!

I was greeted on my second morning to the sight of a lovely family of blue tits flitting to and fro carrying peanuts from one of our box feeders just outside the window behind our shop counter.

The loch itself is still virtually completely frozen over although the ice is showing signs of thinning, but for how long?!

Only time and the weather will tell…

Happy blogging,

Jonathan
