Loch of the Lowes info 27 October 2010

Good morning

It’s a very wet morning here at Lowes and windy but the temperature is just fine at 11 C.   Well I saw nothing on the cameras last night and I am not surprised it was a very windy night.   As I arrived this morning I heard graylag geese lifting off the loch I could not tell how many as it was still dark.  We can get up to 3000 greylag roosting on the loch with the same number of common and black headed gulls.  The gulls are usually still here when osprey watch starts so you can hear them bickering all night long.
