Good moro fine bloggers!

‘Moss’ made several appearances last night/this morning. The first at 11.11pm and stayed for a good 6mins. The second at 5.33am for a 4min feast and then again at 6.12am for a final 5min munch before retiring to bed. He appears to be comfortable in his new abode, I just wish he would tell his friends to come and visit! Hopefully he will settle into a pattern and visit at a regular time each night which will make planning the return of our pine marten evenings much easier.
The deer continue to visit for their evening meal and the hedgehogs are still very much active. They aren’t due to hibernate for another few weeks yet and hopefully they will fatten themselves up enough in time to survive the winter.
We had the return of the blue-tit in our nest box last night, hopefully making it his regular roost for the winter. He has been in and out most of the morning too:

Unfortunately the light in the box isn’t working at present, but we’ll try to sort this so we can show you footage from time to time.
