A touch of frost. Even the sheep on crystal fields seemed frozen this morn. I had to scrape my windshield. Fortunately, I had a cassette in the car to use as a scraper (Van Morrison). My car was parked in one of the lowest spots in the market square. Cars parked only a few metres higher had no frost. Subtle elements, substantial change.

Even the local birds seemed more eager for me to finish restocking the feeders this day. They had a cold night. “Piney” had an active evening. Me wrapped under covers and roof.
