Loch of the Lowes Wildlife, September 26, 2010

A touch of frost. Even the sheep on crystal fields seemed frozen this morn. I had to scrape my windshield. Fortunately, I had a cassette in the car to use as a scraper (Van Morrison). My car was parked in one of the lowest spots in the market square. Cars parked only a few metres higher had no frost. Subtle elements, substantial change.

Even the local birds seemed more eager for me to finish restocking the feeders this day. They had a cold night. “Piney” had an active evening. Me wrapped under covers and roof. As they watched and patiently awaited, our two close resident robins sang the day in. They are content each moment, methinks. As I wish for all life. Rinchen
