Osprey diary 8th June

Sorry for the late update today folks. Seems that there is always something getting in the way!
It’s another dreary day here, but we do need the rain. I just hope it warms up a little over the next few days to give the nest a chance to dry out a bit. The chicks seem to be coping well with the somewhat indecisive Scottish weather, and appear to be mostly content with their lot. The have had the best possible start and have the best outlook any osprey could want with the most experienced of mothers and most doting of dads!
There hasn’t been any fish deliveries since any staff have been here, but mum seems quiet and content so there was possibly a decent breakfast brought in this morning. Dad hasn’t been seen most of the day so he is probably off sheltering somewhere to keep dry before the next meal needs delivered.
