Ambassadors

The Scottish Wildlife Trust is delighted to work with a number of familiar faces who support and help promote our work. These include long-distance cyclist Mark Beaumont, television actor John Michie and TV presenter Stephen Jardine. Find out what they have to say about the Trust and why they support our work below.

Stephen Jardine, broadcaster

Stephen Jardine   "We are all merely custodians of the amazing Scottish countryside. I'm delighted to support the work of the Scottish Wildlife Trust and their efforts preserving our natural environment for future generations. Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to spot my first otter in a forest in Galloway. That precious moment made me realise the wealth of our surroundings and I'd like to do whatever I can to ensure it is protected and enhanced."

Mark Beaumont, cyclist

Mark Beaumont   "I grew up in rural Scotland and have always been lucky enough to experience our diversity of natural places and wildlife. Through my expeditions across the world, I now realise how unique and precious our ecosystem is. As an ambassador for the Scottish Wildlife Trust, I want to encourage others to appreciate our wonderful natural environment and to look after it for the future."

John Michie, actor

John Michie   "I’m delighted to support the Scottish Wildlife Trust. The organisation does a fantastic job to preserve Scotland’s wildlife - and funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery will help continue this important work.”
