News: General Election candidates tell SWT their proirities for nature

23rd April 2010

SWT has contacted candidates standing for election in every constituency in Scotland to ask how they intend to tackle these threats and protect and enhance the wildlife and landscapes of Scotland.

We contacted candidates from the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, the Scottish Green Party, the Scottish Labour Party, the Scottish Liberal Democrats, the Scottish National Party and the United Kingdom Independence Party where their details were freely available.

We asked:  What would you do in office to improve Scotland’s natural environment?
