News: Don’t miss National Members’ Day and AGM 2010

3rd August 2010

Tickets are now on sale for our National Members’ Day and AGM, taking place on Saturday 25 September from 10 am to 4 pm at the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Billed as a celebration of the International Year of Biodiversity, the special day will include a keynote address from TV naturalist Nick Baker, which will take guests on an inspirational tour of wildlife from around the world and on our doorsteps.  With Ed Taylor of the Prince’s Foundation for the Build Environment taking a thought-provoking look at urban biodiversity followed by updates on the future of the Scottish Wildlife Trust from Chief Executive Simon Milne and Jonny Hughes, Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Director of Conservation, organisers say this year’s event aims to be more informative, thought-provoking and inspiring than ever before.

Allan Bantick, Chairman of the Scottish Wildlife Trust, said:  “This year’s National Members’ Day and AGM promises to be a truly inspiring and thought-provoking day. Celebrating the International Year of Biodiversity, it’s your chance to be at the forefront of conservation in Scotland.”

Book your place today by visiting http://www.swt.org.uk/shop/.  Book before 31 August to receive an early bird discount and attend the full event for only £10.
